Different types of Catamarans
There are a lot of different uses for boats but catamarans have more specific uses, they are used for there high speed and amount of space they have compared to a mono-hull.
Sailing Catamarans
Sailing cats are very popular and have huge ranges in everything the main types of sailing catamarans are dinghies and ones designed for racing, cruising ones which are equipped for sailing long distance but in luxury with beds, showers, kitchen and designed for ease of use. There are also ocean racing cats like the Americas cup ones and other that are designed for huge distences at high speed.
